    Dame Celia Sack is hosting an introduction for Dame Andrea Nguyen's latest book:

    Newly inducted Dame Kara Nielsen interviewed Dame Linda Carucci on Thursday, November 10 at The Book Tree in Oakland’s Montclair Village at 7 PM for Cake and Conversation with the Author. Hills Newspaper Group columnist and St. Mary’s College journalism instructor Ginny Prior introduced Kara who chatted with Linda about vexing cooking challenges and indulged in Zucchini-Olive Oil Cake with Boozy Raisins. Copies of Linda's recently released Cooking School Secrets for Real World Cooks: Second Edition were available for sale and signing.

    Olio nuovos, bottled immediately after milling, are known for their fresh and vibrant flavors and have limited availability each year. We will taste 8 oils from Europe and California, and conclude with a food pairing (small bites/not dinner).     About Nancy Ash - Nancy has been an olive oil taster for almost 20 years and is an internationally-trained Taste Panel Leader. She is one of the leaders for the California Olive Oil Council Taste Panel, serves on the taste panel for Modern Olives, and performs sensory assessments for AGBiolab. Also, Nancy loves to cook meals for friends and family using copious amounts of extra virgin olive oil.
