Leah Garchik mentioned dame Peggy Knickerbocker as being a Bay Area James Beard honoree in the May 4, 2017 SF Chronicle. Peggy's story "Brain Food," published in Cooking Light about Paula Wolfert (also a dame) and Alzheimer's disease, won a journalism award.
