Pizzeria da Laura is where pizza, pasta, and good drinks bring people together to connect and celebrate. In this spirit, we’re inviting our members to a summer Member Meetup dinner just steps away from the Downtown Berkeley BART. We'll enjoy a classic pizzeria experience where the humble pie is elevated with perfectly mixed cocktails, a killer women-led wine list and inventive pasta dishes that are made in-house with love.

Chef Laura Meyer will be on hand to tell us her story, which started in Hayward at Pyzano’s Pizza as a 17-year-old.  As a pizzaiola, Chef Laura has won many awards both in the States and in Italy. She’s been recognized by the S.F. Chronicle, Eater, Zagat and Forbes.  After opening Focaccia da Laura, a successful focaccia pop-up during the pandemic, Chef Laura opened Pizzeria da Laura in Berkeley, where she showcases her mastery of dough fermentation through multiple pizza styles ranging from New York to Sicilian, Detroit to Grandma style.

This is a wonderful restaurant and a great way to hang out with other Dames in a casual setting.  Trust me, we will want to try everything, so the more people who attend, the more we can order and sample!

There is no cost to register, but we welcome $10 donations to our General Chapter Fund to cover administrative costs.
