LDEI-SF is excited to throw our third annual Diversity, Equity and Inclusion event. This year the focus will be on Allyship, the active support of a minority or marginalized group without being a member of the group. Please join us to learn about the importance and the how-to’s of Allyship for your personal and professional life and brands. After the moderated panels, we’ll all enjoy an outdoor boxed lunch at Dame Sue Conely’s beautiful Silver Penny Farm in Petaluma and some fun fellowship.
Schedule:
9:30-10:30 am - Registration and morning coffee provided by Silver Penny Farms and Noe Valley Bakery pastries
10:30-12:00 pm - Speaker presentation, panel & brainstorm session
- This year we’re lucky to have 2022 L’Etoile Scholarship winner Savannah Bundy and Kathleen Hill who will speak on how to be an Ally to differently abled people in the culinary field and in culinary education
- Panel on Being an Ally in a Professional Setting: Panelists will share ideas and initiatives for businesses. Panelists include: new Dame Dava Guthmiller, Andrea Lawson Gray, Theodora Lee and Kathleen Hill
