LDEI-SF 2nd Annual DEI in the Food and Wine Industry Celebration and Education Luncheon

LDEI-SF is building on the DEI Day we held last year with an amazing day of food, strategy, and fellowship at Silver Penny Farm. This year we’ll be featuring Maryam Ahmed, Danielle Fiala, Tanya Holland, and Maria Hunt speaking about mentorship within our group and the food and wine industry as a whole, and how mentorship affects DEI.
9:30 am - 10:30 am - Wake up with coffee provided by Silver Penny Farms and Noe Valley Bakery pastries.
10:30 am - 12:30 pm - Presentation will open with a panel discussion, Putting the DEI in LDEI SF where we’ll follow up on how things have changed within our chapter since last year and how we plan to affect change this upcoming year. Next, we’ll have a second panel discussion, Intersectionality, Mentorship, and Sponsorship centered around how mentorship and DEI are connected.
12:30 pm - 1:30 pm - Catered lunch with bread and dessert donated by Noe Valley Bakery and beverages donated by Silver Penny Farm.
1:30 pm - 2 pm - Event wraps up with a farm tour and a farewell by owner Dame Sue Conley and event coordinator Jacquelyn Buchanan.
