At Home with Dame Joanne Weir: An Intimate Evening of Tequila & Tacos
A fundraiser for the San Francisco Chapter
San Francisco Chapter member Dame Joanne Weir will host an in-depth tequila exploration in the kitchen studio of her San Francisco home on Thursday July 20th, from 6-9pm. Open to 12 guests, this intimate event offers an exceptional opportunity to taste and contrast a blanco, reposado, and añejo tequila from a top-shelf producer, guided by two tequila experts; Joanne and Paul Markowitz, bar manager of Copita, Joanne’s Sausalito restaurant.
Following the tasting, Joanne will serve Mexican fare from Copita, including ceviche, chips, salsas, guacamole and tacos with a margarita. The evening concludes with an Oaxacan chocolate milkshake. Each guest will receive a copy of Joanne’s book, Tequila: A Guide to Types, Flights, Cocktails, and Bites, and be eligible for a special tequila-inspired raffle!
Joanne is generously hosting this event to raise funds for the San Francisco Chapter’s philanthropic work. It is open to both members and non-members.
San Francisco Dames will have a two-week exclusive registration opportunity. If there are seats remaining, we will extend this invitation to Sonoma and Sacramento Chapters. There are no refunds however purchased registrations can be transferred to someone else.
