Tuesday, February 9, 20215:00 pm - 6:00 pmZoom Conference
We’re excited by the overwhelming interest in the upcoming Artistry of Chocolate event! The tasting kits are now sold out. However, members who would still like to tune in to the talk are welcome to do so; we’re asking for a suggested $5 donation to help our fundraising efforts.
Join fellow Dames for an opportunity to learn from two chocolate experts, Dame Amy Guittard of Guittard Chocolate Company and Chef Stephen Durfee of The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone. Amy will share insights into how premium chocolate manufacturers work with farmers committed to sustainability and flavor. Chef Durfee will discuss his approach to recipe development, and the chocolate quality attributes he considers when choosing a chocolate for a certain application. Chef Durfee will also share a demo and recipe. He and Amy will also lead participants through a guided tasting of three single-origin chocolates.
This event is serving as a fundraiser. Dames from LDEI-SF, Sonoma, and Sacramento are invited to attend.
A very special thank you to Guittard Chocolate for their generosity.
Registration is limited and will be closed on February 1, 2021.
